The operating system is Windows XP Pro. After POST you see just "windows XP" busy with downloading. It doesn't go furter. After a few minuts I see that: c000021a
What should I do? This laptop doesn't have a optical driver. Thanks a lot for your helping.

We once had a simulair problem (this link).

After rereading that topic.. I suggest you try to do a repair installation of your Windows.

A repair installation is a installation without cleaning the disk.
So that you do not lose any data.

How to perform this repair installation --> Follow this link.

Weazle

Edit:
Just missed the optical drive message.
Because you can not use a CD, I think you have some options:

  • Create a bootable USB disk
  • Buy a USB Cdrom
  • Read the manual (maybe there is a recovery partition in your laptop)
  • Contact IBM ;)
